Furc!Wank was created in May 2007, originally as a repository of stupid public conversations overheard by the author on Furcadia. A great deal of stupid things get said in Furc and captured in logfiles, so it was only natural that they should be recorded semi-permanently for the whole of teh intrawebs to see. As such, the site was named ‘in honour’ of the immortal Fandom Wank community.

Since then, its intended purpose has expanded somewhat to include reviews, tutorials, articles and other various and sundry Furcadia-related material. We smugly acknowledge that we are neither the first nor the last to have this idea, and respectfully salute all predecessors from (Spawn of) Randomism to The Muskrat to FVG and beyond.

Furc!Wank is part of Furced!. If you’re particularly lucky, you may be able to catch some of the staff in our dream, The Grotto.

› Barely reaching four feet in height, the creature stares blankly at you from empty-socket eyes. Vaguely feline in shape, it is covered from head to toe in dirty, mangy mauve fur. A raw, jawless skull grins out from where a face should otherwise be, and it’s not at all clear whether the bone is a mask or part of the creature itself. Cloven hooves on all limbs finish off the look, painted in garish green and orange, and there is something about the whole look that strikes you as not being entirely… sane.

The skullkitty (lower case; it’s a description, not a name) is a long-time alias of Alis Dee. She comes out of hiding occasionally when her interest is piqued by stupidity in the anthro community. A loud-mouthed iconoclast, the skullkitty relishes in tearing down the very institutions that she loves. It may sound crazy but, hell, we never said she was smart.
